Using biohazard experts for cleanups
Biohazardous materials pose multiple safety risks to people in the immediate vicinity of a crime scene. Infectious pathogens from blood and other fluids spread disease and cause deleterious bodily reactions in people who have been exposed to them via open wounds and orifices. Moreover, surfaces that have been wiped down—and therefore appear clean—may in fact still harbor these dangerous bacteria. A deeper, more thorough decontamination is required in these circumstances.
That’s where we come in. Not only will Bio-One restore your property in a prompt and scrupulous manner, we’ll do it correctly. Because our team of certified and highly experienced technicians set the industry standard for biohazard cleanup. We have a flawless safety record—and we’ve been around for over 20 years to validate it. Whatever your situation is, we’ll ensure that the job is done right. We’re here to help.

Originally called Decoration Day, Memorial Day is an American holiday recognized across the United States. It’s celebrated on the last Monday of May each year and is a national holiday. It’s an important holiday where we remember and honor the men and women who have paid the ultimate price while serving our country – military personnel who died in the line of duty.
Many events take place both locally and nationally during Memorial Day weekend to honor the fallen. Reach out to your local city government agencies to find out the events planned in your area.
Here are a few ways to honor and remember the fallen.
- At 3:00 PM, local time, observe a minute of silence.
- Participate in a charity run over Memorial Day weekend.
- Make a donation to military support groups.
- Visit cemeteries and memorials and decorate with wreaths, flags or flowers.
- Attend a local Memorial Day festival, parade or concert.
At Bio-One, we remember, honor and thank all those who have died defending our country. We appreciate and are thankful to all those who have served and continue to serve and protect our country, and defend our freedom and keep us safe.

If you like to hold onto things, try these steps to help declutter your life.
1. Pick one section a day to tackle. For example, this might be your shoes or office.
2. Ask yourself if you want to keep something and create a yes, no, and maybe pile.
3. Get rid of your no's and set aside your yes's. Your maybe pile should be considered carefully. If the item is useful and you need it - keep it. If you are keeping it because you might use it but never have, consider getting rid of it.
4. Do this for each category in your home that needs decluttering.
5. Throw items away, donate to charity, or sell some for some extra cash.

First stage of human decomposition:
The body will take on rigor mortis, begin cell death, and attract insects. This will be the first few days.
Bloating:
The body will become discolored and expanding gases can create a messy explosion.
Decay:
Liquid leaves the body, skin becomes black, organs and bones break down.
Body decomposition is an extremely pungent, messy, and germ-infested process. Even after a body is taken away, there is a lot of cleaning and santizing that should be handled by trained professionals with proper chemicals and equipment. Please contact us immediately and we will remedy the situation.

The summer months are a great break from winter's chill, but pose an unpleasant occurance on a crime and trauma scene. As the heat rises, smells and odors intensify. Bacteria likes warm, wet places and traps odors into the air particles. This is why your gym clothes or car may seem more intensified during the warmer months.
In the crime and trauma industry, bodily fluids and decomposition make for a rude combination with the heat. Hoarding situations are also a pungent situation as many times, there are animal feces or bacterial growth from the buildup in the home. If you have the unfortunate experience of either of these situations, we recommend you call professional help right away. Not only is bacterial growth smelly, it's dangerous! Bio-One is here to help 24/7.

Although you can't always tell if someone is suicidal, there maybe some signs you can learn to recognize especially if you notice more than one.
Warning Signs
If you or someone you know display one or more of these warning signs, take the time to talk and evaluate. It's worth it. If it's an emergency, call the National Suicide Hotline 1-800-273-8255
When a suicide occurs, it affects more than just the family. While the family is feeling it the most, a suicide can actually trickle out to the entire community.
Friends and loved ones are hit hard. Co-workers, caregivers and teachers can be in the next level of those affected. Some people may not have had the same amount of interaction, but these people may feel a sadness or loss that is stronger than we might expect. The truth is, when someone is lost through suicide, it creates a wave that has a far and powerful reach among the community.
You may not always be able to know who is suicidal, but you can be kind and know that everyone is fighting battles you can't see.
If you or someone you know might need a support group, please find the link below that best suits your needs.
